If you’ve ever fallen in love with a Korean drama, this is for you. For the countless hours you’ve spent glued to the screen watching your favorite couple, hoping that through this roller coaster, they will finally end up happy. For the many tears shed over the heartbreak you can almost call your own, for the excruciating pain that you can’t even label real. But It’s as real as you can get. These feelings driven from your soul only show how vulnerable you can be, because you believed in them and their story and plot meant something to you. Maybe it relates to your last heartbreak or breaks you down because of a traumatic life event that no one else can understand. You understand because even if this crazy plot may have numerous criticisms, you hold maybe a strand of connection to it all.
So here’s to the numerous hours you spent alone, fawning over a drama that is worth those 20 hours of your life.
